There’s a boy who keeps his eyes on his heart
And they’re always crying.
Every time he cries, its like the sky dripping from his lashes,
Dark like the daytime, and red like the sunset.
I always told him that he needed stitches for the slashes he left on his ribs,
But he’d look at me with those storm cloud orbs and ask,
“How will people know what’s in my heart if they can’t see it?”
I didn’t know the answer.
The next day I found him on his roof,
Body sprawled on the tiles next to his sun chair,
Cold and motionless.
Before the sun rose, I could almost see
The boy I loved;
The boy with star shine eyes.

The next day I found him on his roof,
Body sprawled on the tiles next to his sun chair,
Cold and motionless.
Before the sun rose, I could almost see
The boy I loved;
The boy with star shine eyes.
My pretty star strewn boy...

Beautiful idea. God, so beautiful. Wanting to show everyone... painful and sad. But so pretty. Really, really good. xox
